Jamaican and Trini Beverages
Things to drink - when you're in the Caribbean.

Ginger Beer- Jamaican
Not really beer - it's soda.  But it's laced with a strong and pungent amount of ginger.  If you like ginger, it's quite tasty!  (Phil thought it too strong - I could actually have handled a little more...)  3.2 stars!

Would I try again? Yum, it's strong and good!

Mauby - Jamaican
A native drink that consists of Mauby bark, water and sugar.  Extremely bitter.  I really was not fond of this one at all!  (It got a little bit better over time, but not much.)

Would I try again?  Oh, no.  Nasty!

Peanut Punch - Jamaican
Yet another drink that's considered an aphrodesiac.  It's peanut juice, sugar cane, guar gum and a few other ingredients. Tastes sweet and peanutty.  It's nice.

Would I try again?  Sure.

Sea Moss - Jamaican
It's considered a healthy drink in the Carribean, and it's kinda nice.  It includes sea moss, gum arabic, milk, cane sugar and milk.  It's milky, frothy, and has a milk-shake type taste.  Worth trying at least once.

Would I try again?  Every once in awhile, sure.

Sorrell - Jamaican
Sorrell (a type of plant), sugar and spices.  Don't know much about this, but it has a certain amount of "bite" to it.  It can contain wine, although that's not mandatory.  It's good, but not mindblowing.

Would I try again?  Occasionally.
