Baobab Juice -
Senegal Known as the Tree of Life, Baobab trees in Africa are harvested for their bark, their leaves...and their juice (which is known to be high in calcium). While it would be folly to try to decipher the exact ingredients of what I tried, the beverage I downed was milky white, tasting of cream, sugar...and a hint of fermentation. Definitely tasty. While I didn't like the Mafe at Sokhna, the Baobab Juice comes GG recommended. (Especially in summer.) Would I try again? Yes Where I found it: Sokhna |
